Specific tips on tackling the exam paper
Before Examination Tips
  • Do not prepare extra topics only revise whatever you have learnt.
  • Analyze previous years papers and hitting of questions (make list).
  • Whatever you prepare solid.
  • Conceptual questions need deep understanding.
  • Solve at least 10 model papers and let them checked by some expert also record your timings.
  • See center before (and reach there before time).
  • Arrange all the pens/pencils/geometry box.
  • At least keep two pens.
  • Prefer to use ball pen.
  • Keep a watch
  • Take a good sleep.
  • Avoid overeating.
  • Roll  number(do not forget)
  • Read the scheme of examination carefully
  • Don’t plan cheating since it may disturb concentration and you may be debarred from examination.
At the Time of Examination Tips
  • No prior discussions with anybody.
  • General entries fill correctly in the sheets provided (answer sheet).
  • Read question paper carefully and elective.
  • Do not open answer sheet before prescribed time.
  • Attendance sheet should be marked.
  • In first two hours try those questions which you know and do not ask anything from anybody.
  • Concentrate only on paper while solving paper, ignore other outside activities
  • Try to explain your answers with the help of diagrams wherever necessary.
  • Structure time management.
  • Solve from easy to hard, more questions of good weightage
  • Your answers should be brief and to the point.
  • Avoid cuttings and overwriting in your answer sheet.
  • Underline the main points.
  • Do not stick to a single question come back if time left
  • Do not leave the units and symbols.
  • Calculation rough work(left side)
  • 15 minute leave for check Give the necessary details in the B sheet, attach with main sheet with double knot.
  • Don’t sleep in paper.
After Examination Tips
  • Don’t forget to take back your admit card.
  • Relax after giving examination and the start preparing for next paper.
